Amos is a Prince and an only son. His father, the King had him pretty late in life. He was born when his father was already old and had given up hope that he was ever going to have a male child to take over the throne in his dismiss. His dad on the other hand married other women after Amos was born just to make sure he has more sons. Some of these women were even younger than Amos himself.

Last week, we talked about Haldane and Joseph, who were course mates in the University and partners in crime. They had their individual relationships, but they were so close that one would think otherwise.

Joseph was Haldane course mate from 100level in the university. They were best of friends, reading partners and even partners in crime. Everybody thought they had something going, until Joseph went out with Marcel and Haldane dated Patrick. But their relationship though platonic was more intense than their individual affairs put together. It was no surprise to anybody that even after graduation; their friendship was still very strong.

In Africa, before the advent of dressing -up and society outings, weddings and events, a married woman is seen as the bedrock of her home and families. She is a shelter in time of storm and cold, she is a symbol of warmth and the mother to her husband as well as her children and if there was any character to be emulated it is most times from the married woman and mother.

Lola was a devoted Christian girl. While she was in the university her principle was so obvious by the opposite sex, that none of them dare near her because of her practice. This went on until she met Sammy who proved to be different because he did not worry her about sex. Sammy claimed love making should be consummated between husband and wife after their wedding. So they dated and courted until they finally got married.

Ephraim and Magdalene were five and six in the unversity. Everyone thought their’s was a union made in heaven. Ephraim graduated before Magdalene did, so he went for service leaving Magdalene behind in school, but their relationship was still intact.
