A Lagos family is calling for justice and a full investigation into the tragic deaths of their nine-month-old identical twin boys, Testimony and Timothy Alozie, who died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, less than 24 hours after receiving routine immunisations.

Speaking in a special interview with Vanguard, the grieving father, Mr. Samuel Alozie, recounted the events leading up to the infants’ deaths. According to him, the twins were taken to a health centre for their scheduled vaccinations. After the immunisation, a nurse at the facility reportedly advised the family to administer paracetamol if the children developed a fever.

Mr. Alozie said the twins later showed signs of fever, prompting the family to give them paracetamol and place them in cold baths, as advised. However, their condition reportedly worsened overnight. Despite efforts to manage the symptoms, both children deteriorated and were confirmed dead in the early hours of December 25.

The Alozie family has raised concerns over the circumstances surrounding the deaths and is demanding a thorough, transparent investigation to determine what went wrong. They are also seeking legal assistance and public support to ensure accountability and prevent similar incidents in the future.

The family insists that the truth must be uncovered and appropriate action taken if negligence is established.
